About this experience
You step into a polished pre-war motor car from a private royal collection, a chauffeur in livery at the wheel and a curator beside you who knows the city’s makers and merchants by name.
After gliding past the Hawa Mahal and the City Palace walls you leave the car for the walled-city lanes, meeting a master block-printer, a lac-bangle maker and a jeweller in his haveli workshop, before chai is taken on a rooftop above the rose-pink lattices.
