About this experience
The warm, sheltered bays of Poipu on Kauai’s sunny south shore hold some of the island’s most accessible reef.
A guide leads you from the sand at Poipu Beach Park out over coral gardens alive with butterflyfish, parrotfish and the Hawaiian state fish, the humuhumunukunukuapua‘a — and, most mornings, basking green sea turtles. Gear, instruction and reef etiquette are all provided.
