About this experience
A turbaned camel-man wraps you a blue Tuareg cheche and leads your dromedary out of Merzouga into the towering apricot dunes of Erg Chebbi.
You ride the soft ridgelines as shadows lengthen, then climb the highest crest on foot to watch the sun sink and the sand turn from gold to rose to violet over the Algerian horizon.
