About this experience
A guide hikes you up the soft flank of one of Erg Chebbi’s highest dunes, board under your arm, teaching you to read the firmer wind-packed lines on the way.
Then you point downhill and ride the long sweeping face all the way to the base — sitting, kneeling or standing once you’ve found your balance — before trudging back up for another run as the light turns golden.
