About this experience
Climb the blinding-white travertine terraces of Pamukkale — the “cotton castle” — where mineral-rich thermal water has spilled down the hillside into shallow turquoise pools for millennia.
Above the terraces spreads the Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis, with its grand theatre and necropolis, and the option to swim among submerged marble columns in the antique Cleopatra’s Pool.
