Seven nights with a hired SUV (English-speaking pickup; we set up the route), looping from Hobart through Freycinet (Wineglass Bay), up to Cradle Mountain for the alpine walks, across to Strahan for the Gordon River wilderness cruise, and back through the Tasmanian whisky and cheese trail.
